NATIVE AMERICAN YOUTH SURVEY
I am gathering information and initiating a survey of Native Youth - ages 16 to 24 - from the ten tribes on the Olympic Peninsula. The purpose of this survey and information gathered will be used by Two Rivers Community Development Corporation - a Native non-profit enterprise located in North Bend, Washington - in assessing the need for a Native training center on the Olympic Peninsula.
The site will be located somewhere in the Olympic Peninsula area, but the preferred site is Camp Snider near Forks. This unused Forest Service Training facility would be an ideal setting for a center that includes Native cultural emphasis on training and healing practices.

4. Makah Tribe
5. Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe

7. Quinault Tribe
8. Skokomish Tribe
9. Squaxin Island Tribe
10. Suquamish Tribe

Two Rivers CDC is planning to develop a Native training center that will be a resource to the Native population on the Olympic peninsula and Washington, for addressing the needs of Native youth and veterans.
